Instinct vs. Reason

Ok. There seems to be some confusion regarding my last entry. I'm not about to start dating anyone. It feels more instinctive than cognitive. When I actually stop and really ponder all the pros and cons of a relationship, the cons far outweigh the pros. I just feel this need, this instinctive need, to find someone. However, to quote the elephant man, "I am not an animal. I am a human being." So instinctive feelings get pushed aside, and reason should win out. It's done. I have passed the test. I will go into the West and remain Andrew Lance.
